Statistical Notes Following MPT 2019 Season

Observations following the MPT Las Vegas Extravaganza at Aria Las Vegas on September 29, 2019 and the MPT Main Event at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, on December 27, 2019.

• Bigfus broke a streak of 14 tournaments without a win at the Las Vegas Extravaganza in September, tying the longest stretch of her career without a win
• Bigfus broke a tie with TSS777 to take sole possession of the all-time lead in MPT wins, with ten
• Bigfus tied for the fourth most "kills" in any MPT event, by eliminating 6 opponents in the Las Vegas Extravaganza in September, becoming only the second player to eliminate all of their opponents in a single tournament, joining Betdponies (March, 2007)
• Martin became the first player to cash in his first two MPT events since Solotrombone in 2012, joining Betdponies (2006-2007), Bigfus (2006-2007), and Mr. Lucky (2011) as the only other players to do so
• RowanB joined Betdponies (2007, 2008), Bigfus (2011, 2012), and Harv29 (2015, 2017) as the fourth player to win more than one Main Event, with the longest stretch between victories (10 years/8 events)
• RowanB tied Harv29 for third place on the all-time victory list, with his sixth MPT tournament win
• Sass' second place finish at the final event of the season was her record setting third runner-up finish in the MPT Main Event
• RowanB has cashed in three consecutive Main Events, tying Betdponies (2007-2009) and Bigfus (2010-2012) for the longest streak of consecutive Main Event cashes
• Sionow's 5 point win in 2019 was the largest Sealy Cup winning margin of victory since Harv29's 8 point win in 2015
• RowanB continued his streak of cashing in every MPT season that included more than one event (though, his streak of cashing in 11 consecutive seasons was snapped after finishing on the bubble in the only event of the 2018 season)
• Harv29 failed to cash in a season with more than one event for only the second time in MPT history and the first time since 2014
• Aria became the 20th different venue to host a MPT event
• The Golden Nugget Atlantic City became the tenth different venue to host more than one MPT event
• RowanB has won both events at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City
• Sionow became only the third person to win the MPT Player of the Year award despite not playing in the Main Event, joining TSS777 (2007) and JTinLV (2017) as the only other players to do so
