"Bounty Bowl" for Bally's

SPRINGFIELD, VA - Tournament director, Harv29, has announced that the M.P.T. return visit to Bally's Atlantic City on October 25, 2008 will be a "Bounty Bowl". Whereas in previous tournaments only past champions have had a bounty on them, in this tournament each player will carry a bounty. Also as an added incentive (if you didn't already need an incentive to win one of the most prestigious poker titles in the world), "kill" points for this tournament will be doubled.

We look forward to seeing you at Bally's Atlantic City!

Oooh. Raising the stakes. I love it. Our tournament director is always adding things to rev up the play!

Esteemed tournament director... could you share with us the proper adjustments to play that we should make to take the bounty into account?

What do you mean? The main prize pool will be adjusted for the bounties. If it is a small field, then the bounties will come from other prize funds.

I mean should we make adjustments to our game to account for a portion of the prize pool being in the bounties? What are you expecting the bounty to be per person?

$5 per person. If there are more than 6 players, then any excess "fees" will go to the bounty pool. If there are only six players, then I will see how the pool breaks out and the bounties may come from the existing prize fund (ie, the bad beat jackpot).
