Statistical Notes Following MPT 2014 Event #1

Observations following the first event of the 2014 season, held at Golden Nugget Atlantic City on May 3, 2014.

This was the first MPT event played without Bigfus, ending a streak of 42 consecutive tournaments

With only five players, this event equaled the smallest field in MPT history, last set in April, 2008 (RowanB also won that event)

The Golden Nugget Atlantic City was the sixteenth different venue to host a MPT event

TSS777 busted on the bubble for the second time in his 29 MPT appearances

RowanB leaped past Harv29 into third place on the all-time money list

By eliminating Harv29 in this event, TSS777 took the all-time lead in career "kills"

This was the first time since July 2009 that TSS777 recorded a single "kill" in an event, the only other time in his MPT career when he recorded a single elimination (in the meantime, he recorded multiple "kills" in eight other tournaments)
