Tie for 2012 MPT Money List Winner!

For the first time since 2009, someone other than Bigfus finished atop the season ending money list.  Actually two players tied.  As a result of the decision to chop the winner and runner-up share during the 2012 Main Event, Bigfus' second victory of the season was not enough to catapult her past RowanB into the money lead, but did vault Main Event runner-up Amazon into a tie for the top spot.

2012 marks the first ever tie for the money lead and the closest race in MPT history, as only $10 separated third-place Bigfus from winners RowanB and Amazon.

RowanB Wins 2012 Player of the Year Title

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - RowanB earned his first career MPT Player of the Year trophy for the 2012 season.  He followed a strong runner-up finish in the annual Las Vegas Spectacular with his first Fall Classic win in Stone Harbor.  His consistent finishes in the other events and season lead in "kills" kept him ahead of Bigfus, who finished her third consecutive season with at least two MPT wins.  RowanB becomes the fifth different MPT Player of the Year, joining TSS777, Harv29, Sass, and Bigfus.
